Flow Renovations LTD ("Flow Renovations," "we," "us," or "our") is a family-owned residential renovation contractor based in Cleveland, Ohio, serving homeowners across Cuyahoga County and 30+ surrounding suburbs. We provide flooring, roofing, painting, siding, accent walls, fireplace installation, Venetian plaster, and basement remodeling services.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit flowrenovations.com, request a free estimate, apply to our contractor network, partner with us as a real estate professional, or otherwise interact with our business.

Information You Provide Directly

Homeowner Estimate Requests. When you request a free quote through a form on our website or by phone at (216) 352-3778, we collect:

  • Property address (used to verify service area and schedule on-site visits)
  • Project details — service type, scope, photos, timeline, budget range
  • Preferred contact method and preferred contact times

Contractor Network Applications

When you apply to join our subcontractor network at flowrenovations.com/contractor-form, we collect business information needed to evaluate your application, including trade specialty, years in business, licensing and insurance details, references, work samples, and contact information.

Real Estate Professional Inquiries

When real estate agents, brokers, or investors submit inquiries at flowrenovations.com/real-estate-agents-brokers-investors, we collect business contact information, brokerage or firm details, property addresses, project scope (flips, pre-listing refreshes, rental turnovers, post-inspection repairs), and timeline requirements.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Device & usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution
  • Browsing behavior — pages visited, time on page, click paths, referring website, search terms that led you to us
  • Location data — approximate location derived from IP address, used to determine whether you are within our Cuyahoga County service area

  • Honor our Lifetime Labor Warranty — maintain records of work performed so we can perform unlimited inspections and remediation for as long as you own the home
  • Process contractor and partner applications — evaluate qualifications, verify licensing and insurance, and onboard approved subcontractors
  • Improve our website and services — analyze how visitors use our site to make it more useful
  • Marketing and remarketing — send promotional emails, retarget ads on Google and Meta platforms, and notify past clients of seasonal services (you can opt out at any time)
  • Legal compliance — comply with Ohio contractor licensing requirements, tax laws, and respond to lawful legal requests
  • Prevent fraud and protect our business — detect suspicious activity and protect against misuse of our forms or services

How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. You may also reply HELP for assistance, or contact us directly at (216) 352-3778 or by email. Opting out of SMS does not affect your ability to receive estimates, project updates, or warranty service by phone or email.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share your phone number with third-party marketers.

  • Google Maps — embedded service area map on our website
  • Google Analytics & Google Ads — site analytics and advertising
  • Meta Platforms — Facebook and Instagram ads and pixel tracking
  • Houzz, Yelp, Google Business Profile — review platforms where customers can publicly post about their experience with us
  • Email and SMS providers — for sending estimates, project updates, and automated text messages
  • Payment processors — for handling deposits and project payments (we do not store full credit card numbers on our systems)
  • Licensing & insurance verification services — for verifying contractor applicants

07Sharing of Information

Flow Renovations does not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • With service providers — as described in Section 6, for the purpose of operating our business
  • With subcontractors — when a vetted Cleveland-area trade partner is assigned to part of your project, we share the property address, scope, and necessary contact information so they can do the work
  • With real estate partners — when you initiate work as part of a real estate transaction, we share project details with the agent, broker, or investor you've authorized
  • For legal reasons — to comply with Ohio law, court orders, subpoenas, or other lawful requests; to enforce our agreements; or to protect our rights, property, and safety, or that of others
  • In a business transfer — if Flow Renovations is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy
  • With your consent — for any other purpose disclosed at the time you provide the information

08Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by Ohio law and our Lifetime Labor Warranty obligations:

  • Active project records — kept for the duration of the project plus 7 years (for tax, accounting, and licensing recordkeeping)
  • Warranty records — retained for as long as our Lifetime Labor Warranty applies (i.e., as long as you own the renovated home), so we can honor inspections and remediation
  • Marketing data — kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion
  • Unsuccessful inquiries — typically retained for 2 years for follow-up and analytics, then deleted or anonymized
  • Contractor applications — retained for 2 years from last contact

09Your Privacy Rights

Regardless of where you live, you have the following rights with respect to information we hold about you:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we have about you
  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion — request that we delete your information, subject to legal and warranty retention requirements
  • Opt-out of marketing — unsubscribe from emails or reply STOP to texts at any time
  • Withdraw consent — withdraw any consent you previously provided, where consent is the basis for processing

To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 14. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

10California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you additional rights regarding your personal information. Although Flow Renovations is based in Ohio and primarily serves Cuyahoga County, we honor these rights for any California resident who interacts with our website.

Flow Renovations does not sell personal information for money. 11Children's Privacy

Flow Renovations provides residential renovation services and our website is directed to adult homeowners and business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including:
